JASDF Iruma Air Show (Saitama)

Iruma Air Base, located in both Sayama city and Iruma city, Saitama prefecture, is the largest base of JASDF with 18 units and 4,300 members.

Iruma Air Show is held annually in 3rd November from 1962.

There seems to be more than 200,000 people.  Aircraft lined up in the distance are Blue Impulse, the aerobatics demonstration team.

Symbol colors of the Blue Impulse are white and blue.

3rd-generation model of Blue Impulse is T-4.     6 aircraft formation

Maximum speed;Mach 0.9, practical upper limit;15,000 m, maximum cruising distance;1,300 km.

The formal name of Blue Impulse is 11 squadron 4th Air Wing in Matsushima Air Base in Miyagi prefecture.
